After much soul-searching, I have decided to cancel FlowMotion Symposium 2022. When I truly considered what it would mean for all of us to hold an indoor masked event for three days, with people visiting from around the country, that was just too much to ask of all of us. 

Each of you has been a stalwart companion to me and the mission over the years, and my heart is full of gratitude while at the same time it is breaking. I’ve considered multiple other alternatives, and none of them are in alignment with my personal mission or what I think would serve our community at this time. There were so many factors involved with this decision; I won’t bore you with the minutiae, but know that I consulted with so many folks in our circle and other local stakeholders who have supported our efforts over the years. They all agreed that the risk — both to the health of our community and to the long-term future of FlowMotion — was just too great to proceed as planned. 

I am dreaming about what’s next, and I sense that all of us as artists are going to have big dreams that we are going to bring into the world when the time is right. Please keep playing, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
